The terms for reading, accounts and subscriptions in News PaNer.
01｜Services and scope
This document applies to News PaNer, operated by JLapp Studio, and its related website, support and applicable test features. Other products have separate applicable documents.
Before using account, test or paid features, read these terms, the privacy policy and the relevant feature instructions. Applicable store, licence or test conditions are provided separately. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected. Users without full legal capacity should obtain a guardian’s assistance and consent where required for use or purchases.
02｜News PaNer: briefs and further reading
News PaNer helps you follow your country of residence, home country and other places of interest through short highlights and links to detailed reporting on publishers’ sites. AI assists in organizing public event information. Selection, summaries and translations may contain errors; consult original reporting and send the article link when requesting a correction.
News uses focus selection and incremental updates. We do not promise a fixed number of new stories per update, that every story is from today, or that every scheduled check succeeds. Existing published stories may remain when sources, connectivity or publication checks fail. Ordering reflects our selection signals, not a verified ranking of all internet page views.
We have contacted relevant publishers to inquire about content use and cooperation. Those inquiries have not resulted in signed partnerships or permission. An inquiry, public link or source credit does not establish consent. Any future permission will be used within its agreed content, platform, duration, use and attribution scope, and will not be treated as permission from all sources.
News and weather are for general information, not personalized investment, medical or legal advice. Verify original information and seek suitable professional advice for important decisions. A link does not mean we own the article, guarantee its accuracy or partner with its publisher. External sites may require login/payment or restrict embedded reading and apply their own terms.
03｜Accounts, purchase ownership and security
Protect your sign-in methods and do not impersonate others or share private passwords or verification codes. Apple, Google, Facebook and dedicated accounts are different sign-in methods; switching methods does not guarantee access to the same membership.
Store purchases are bound to a verified member. Use the original store account and original membership to restore purchases. If a purchase belongs to another member, switch back or contact us rather than buying again to resolve the error. Deleting a member and signing in again does not automatically transfer the original subscription.
Contact us about unauthorized access, security or data concerns. We may take necessary action against abuse, infringement or threats to service security, with notice and an explanation or appeal channel where appropriate.
04｜News PaNer plans and country slots
Plans differ in country slots, preferred-interest tiles and local favourites. All plans can read up to 20 stories in the current feed for each accessible country, subject to actual publication. Favourites and history are local; a subscription does not include cross-device backup of them.
After you manually replace a country in a slot, that slot cannot be changed again for 30 days. Check your choice and the displayed notice before confirming. Added or restored slots are checked against the current plan and saved state. Expiry, cancellation followed by expiry, or other entitlement changes apply the verified access limits.

05｜Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds
Monthly subscriptions have a one-month billing period; annual subscriptions have a one-year period. Price, currency, tax, trial and offer conditions are shown by the store before you confirm. Payment requires your store confirmation. Sandbox or authorized test purchases are not production charges.
Auto-renewing plans renew under the original store’s rules unless cancelled before its required deadline. Use Paid access → Manage store subscription in the app or the Apple/Google Play subscription controls. Access usually continues to the end of the paid period after cancellation, subject to verified store status, refunds and revocations.
Uninstalling, signing out or deleting your News PaNer account does not cancel store renewal. Request refunds through the original store, subject to its policy and applicable law; these terms do not exclude statutory refund rights. Purchases are not guaranteed to transfer automatically between stores.
Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the Apple-platform licence; Google Play purchases are also subject to its store terms. Changes to paid conditions will receive the information and notice required by the store and applicable law.
06｜Translation, device features and local data
Apple Translation on iPhone and Google ML Kit on Android depend on supported operating systems, languages and devices. Language downloads, connectivity and storage may be required. The web version does not promise every mobile API feature. Sites that block embedding or accessible article text may need to be opened at the publisher.
Machine translations can be inaccurate; consult the original text. Google translation is provided as available, with its applicable disclaimers concerning accuracy, reliability, suitability and non-infringement. This does not remove our non-excludable legal responsibilities.
Favourites, history, settings and unsynchronized data may be lost when an app is removed, browser storage is cleared or a device fails. Keep information you need to retain. Notifications need device permission; widgets, watches and weather also depend on systems, connectivity and platform capabilities.
07｜Content rights and acceptable use
We or the relevant rights holders retain rights in brands, software, interfaces, original content and game assets. Use does not grant resale or wholesale reproduction rights. Third-party articles, images and trademarks remain with their owners; linking or bookmarking does not grant rights to reproduce, adapt or redistribute a full article.
You or the original rights holder retain rights in submitted material. We use it only as needed for the service, security and lawful handling. Do not impersonate others, infringe rights, send malicious content, bypass access/payment controls or disrupt systems. Infringement reports should include the relevant link, rights basis and contact details for review.
08｜Ending use, changes and disputes
You may stop using a service and request data handling through its account controls or our contact email. Retention/deletion follows the privacy policy. Subscription cancellation must still be completed with the original store.
Networks, maintenance, devices and external sources may cause delays or outages; we take reasonable steps to address problems. Material service or terms changes will be dated and appropriately notified. Additional consent, confirmation or remedies will be provided where required.
We and users remain responsible as required by law; we do not exclude intentional misconduct, gross negligence or non-excludable duties. These terms are governed by Taiwan law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or jurisdiction rules that apply where you live. Disputes follow applicable law; you are welcome to contact us first for assistance.
Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese versions provide corresponding information. Contact us about discrepancies; translation differences do not limit statutory rights.
